      Role Summary
 Technician, Industrial HVAC in Boca Raton, FL. Responsible for the proper operation and maintenance of all facility HVAC systems and equipment, performing preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs within a cGMP manufacturing facility.
 
 Responsibilities
 
 - Operate and maintain facility HVAC systems, high-capacity chillers, ultra-low refrigeration systems, cooling towers, and liquid pumping systems.
 
 - Respond to emergencies to repair systems and ensure safety and availability of equipment.
 
 - Maintain, troubleshoot, and repair package units, large tonnage systems, split systems, built-up systems, and water source heat pump equipment.
 
 - Maintain, program, troubleshoot, and repair commercial chiller cooling systems and chilled water pumps.
 
 - Maintain, program, troubleshoot, and repair variable frequency drives (VFDs) in various applications.
 
 - Trace and troubleshoot complex electrical systems.
 
 - Maintain, troubleshoot, and repair specialized systems (Daikin, Vilter, Dunham Bush screw compressor systems) and cooling tower motors, fans, and pumps.
 
 - Perform complex troubleshooting and repair of HVAC systems to keep the facility in a cGMP state.
 
 - Provide technical assistance for investigations when equipment or system failures occur.
 
 - Oversee technical repairs performed by outside contractors on HVAC or related equipment.
 
 - Research codes and existing procedures for regulatory conformance.
 
 - Ensure outside vendors and contractors are trained in applicable procedures and monitored for compliance with safety, environmental, and health standards and codes.
 
 - Ensure the plant is clean and free of debris or clutter.
 
 
 
 Qualifications
 
 - Competencies: Ability to follow cGMPs and procedures with attention to detail; ability to read blueprints.
 
 - Education: High school diploma or equivalent required; a minimum of two years of technical or vocational training required, or equivalent HVAC experience (two years).
 
 - Experience: 10 years of HVAC work in manufacturing or commercial environment; working knowledge of local and state HVAC codes required.
 
 - Preferred Experience: Experience with Building Management Systems (BMS); experience in regulated cGMP, manufacturing, or pharmaceutical environments; basic knowledge of HVAC installation, operation, safety, instrumentation, controls, and building automation systems.
