Role: Maintenance and Reliability Technician supporting pharmaceutical manufacturing at Novartis. Responsibilities: operate, maintain, and troubleshoot utility, facility, electrical, HVAC systems; perform preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance; support startup, shutdown, commissioning, and qualification of critical systems; lead alarm response, identify reliability improvements, and coordinate contractors; ensure compliance with GxP documentation standards; collaborate across engineering, quality, validation, and automation teams; mentor less experienced technicians. Requirements: associate degree, diploma, or technical certification with 2+ years of experience in maintenance or utilities; experience in regulated industries such as pharma, biotech, healthcare, or semiconductors; strong troubleshooting skills in mechanical, electrical, instrumentation; ability to lift 50 pounds, climb ladders, work in cleanrooms; knowledge of safety protocols and CMMS.
