QC Sample Management Technician (Night Shift) responsibilities:
- Handle QC test samples throughout lifecycle: receipt, storage, distribution, transfer, and disposal; facilitate cold-chain transfers.
- Ensure samples/materials are properly labeled; maintain sample tracking, labeling, and chain-of-custody records per regulatory requirements and procedures.
- Maintain inventory and distribute QC samples/materials to functional groups as scheduled/requested.
- Record performance metrics for the sample management group.
- Support identification and implementation of process efficiencies.
- Communicate status of task completion, roadblocks, and needs to management.

Schedule/working conditions:
- 6PM–6AM, 12-hour rotating shift (36/48 hours over 2 weeks), every other weekend, holidays on scheduled days, and adverse weather support; irregular hours/short-notice overtime may be required.
- May work around biohazardous materials; exposure to fluctuating/extreme temperatures.

Qualifications:
- Associate’s degree in Chemistry/Microbiology or related science; or high school diploma/GED with 2+ years relevant experience (preferably in a regulated environment). Equivalent education/experience acceptable.
- Preferred: cold chain sample storage/transfer in a GMP environment; LIMS and ELN experience; knowledge of GMP regulatory standards.
- Requirements/skills: basic electronic systems knowledge (email, MS Office); light–moderate lifting/carrying up to 20 lbs; attention to detail/organizational skills; adapt to changing priorities; meet deadlines; effective communication.

Compensation/benefits (explicit): $27.35–$33.14/hr (Devens, MA, US). Health (medical/pharmacy/dental/vision), 401(k), disability, life insurance, EAP/wellbeing programs, and paid time off.
