Technician I, QC Sample Management, Cell Therapy

Role: QC Sample Management Technician in cell therapy, responsible for handling test samples throughout their lifecycle, including receipt, storage, distribution, transfer, and disposal. Objectives include maintaining sample integrity, tracking, and supporting QC and manufacturing functions. Responsibilities: ensure proper labeling, maintain chain of custody records, support inventory with scheduled or requested distributions, and uphold safety and organizational standards in a BSL-2 environment. Requirements: Associate’s degree or higher, or high school diploma with 2+ years relevant experience; knowledge of electronic systems (email, MS Office); physically able to perform lab tasks, handle hazardous materials, and lift up to 20 lbs. with proper safety procedures. Preferred qualifications include familiarity with regulated environments and MLO level 3 certification (Netherlands). High-Value: biological sample handling in a GMP-compliant QC setting, working in shifts (6 AM–6 PM, rotating), with physical and safety demands aligned with lab safety standards. Reporting to QC management, the role may involve working in a laboratory supporting cell therapy manufacturing, with a focus on sample integrity and regulatory compliance.
