Technician I, Donor Center

Role: Donor Center Technician I responsible for safe and compliant plasma collection, donor screening, and sample handling. Responsibilities: set up automated plasmapheresis machines, monitor donors, manage donor reactions, perform screening assessments (vital signs, weight, protein, hematocrit), determine donor eligibility, label and handle samples, organize plasma units, and support administrative compliance. Requirements: high school diploma or equivalent; strong attention to detail; excellent communication skills; ability to interpret screening results; experience in a clinical or donor center environment preferred.
