Operations
Night Shift Floater (8 hours/day; floats when mechanics are on scheduled time off such as vacation/scheduled sick time with at least 2 weeks’ notice).

Responsibilities:
- Perform maintenance to support production goals while complying with quality standards and safety requirements.
- Diagnose production/packaging equipment to determine repair needs; make timely repairs and complete required documentation per cGMPs and departmental SOPs.
- Maintain equipment functionality via the preventative maintenance program.
- Maintain a clean, organized work area during and at the end of each shift.
- Follow departmental SOPs and cGMPs; review current/revised/new SOPs.
- Complete required cGMP and safety training.
- Perform maintenance/repairs to support on-time customer delivery with minimal downtime.
- Assist with set-up and changeovers of production/packaging equipment.
- Troubleshoot equipment and coordinate corrective actions to reduce/eliminate defects, rejects, and downtime.
- Complete all documentation for repair/maintenance.
- Provide guidance/training to less experienced mechanics for PMs, line set-up, and changeovers.

Qualifications:
- Two-year Associate’s degree in Industrial Maintenance/Systems/Instrumentation/Electrical/Electronics (or similar) plus 2–3 years industrial mechanical/electrical maintenance OR High school/GED plus 3–5 years.
- Proficiency in electrical & mechanical troubleshooting; maintenance methods; multiple types of industrial manufacturing equipment.
- cGMP/FDA-regulated environment experience preferred.

Skills/Abilities:
- Detail-oriented; self-motivated; strong manual dexterity and math skills.
- English communication (read/write/communicate effectively).
- Windows/Microsoft Office knowledge.
- Lift up to 40 lbs (men) / 35 lbs (women); able to stand/walk and perform physical movements required for maintenance.
- Knowledge of manual/automated production/packaging equipment; troubleshooting principles.
- Working knowledge of filling/packaging equipment; independent work; read electrical/mechanical manuals/schematics.
