Technician

Role: Laboratory Technician responsible for specimen testing, instrumentation operation, and quality control in a clinical lab setting. Responsibilities: perform routine to complex tests, monitor and troubleshoot lab equipment, prepare reagents, ensure accurate reporting of results, and maintain a safe work environment. Qualifications: Associate’s degree in a Chemical or Biological Science, Medical Technology, or Clinical Laboratory Science; Louisiana State (LSBME) license; proficiency with computers and lab information systems; attention to detail and strong organizational skills. Preferred: prior Labcorp experience, 1+ years of clinical lab testing, and ASCP or AMT certification. High-Value: clinical laboratory testing, specimen validation, quality control, troubleshooting instrumentation. Work setup: rotating schedule (day and evening shifts, every 6th weekend), with flexibility for overtime or additional shifts.
