Role Summary
Technical Product Owner (IT Manager) β Enterprise Ledger NA - Run State. Location based in New Brunswick, NJ, United States. Leads a global team of finance technology professionals to enable the strategic direction for finance technology products focused on SAP S4 Finance, supporting the A2R run state of SAP S4 Finance.
Responsibilities
- Business Problem Definition: translate finance function problems into a value case and solutions across process, technology, data, governance, and user experience with defined KPIs.
- External Insights: monitor finance process/tech trends and compliance shifts to inform strategies.
- Solution Design: drive experiments, human-centered design, agile practices, end-to-end process optimization, and compliance into solutions.
- Value Realization: define expected value across employee experience, functional excellence, efficiency, and compliance.
- Architecture: collaborate with finance architecture to align systems with business capabilities and standards.
- Internal Partnerships: advise senior finance & technology leaders across product lifecycles; communicate progress against objectives.
- Product Management: ensure roadmaps deliver finance business and technology strategy, value creation, and KPIs; ensure system performance during planning and reporting cycles.
- External Partnerships: manage vendor relationships to influence development roadmaps.
- Team Leadership: lead a global team of finance technology professionals across domains and locations.
Qualifications
- 7+ years preferred managing technical and/or finance teams; strong leadership and communication skills.
- 5+ years of functional experience with SAP ECC6 FI/CO, S/4 HANA Finance and/or SAP Central Finance.
- BA/BS required; Masterβs Degree in Computer Science/Engineering, Economics/Financial Accounting, or MBA preferred.
- Technical expertise in S/4 HANA, SAP Central Finance, Cloud infrastructure, Data strategy/governance/technology/process definition; Financial accounting knowledge.
- Experience with related processes a plus: Supply Chain, I2C, P2P, Asset Management, Project Accounting, Treasury, Master Data Management.
