Title: Technical Business Partner, Large Molecule Capabilities
Location: Cambridge, MA (Hybrid)
How will you contribute:
- Identify and evaluate emerging technologies to enhance Global Biologics business processes; work with software vendors and communicate recommendations to business partners.
- Drive cross-functional collaboration to ensure successful project and product delivery aligned with stakeholder expectations.
- Build and maintain a dynamic 3β5 year technology roadmap for Large Molecule Capabilities across R&D.
- Provide executive-level governance for digital initiatives; ensure delivery on time/on budget with measurable business value.
- Oversee project budgets, resource allocation, timelines, and quality standards.
- Manage the large molecule technology budget (Research, PharmSci, and PDT R&D Data, Digital & Technology) and prioritize with Global Biology Leaders.
- Serve as the single point of contact for Global Biologics technology needs, including services/support, software, informatics infrastructure, and strategic partnerships.
- Represent Global Biologics in strategic planning, investment prioritization, and global technology governance forums.
- Serve on the Research, PharmSci, and PDT R&D Data, Digital & Technology Leadership Team.
What you bring to Takeda:
- BS/MS in biology, genomics, computational biology, or related large-molecule discipline.
- 10+ years in a technology organization supporting biologics business functions (biotech/pharma preferred).
- 8+ years people leadership experience.
- Enterprise-scale technology/digital solutions delivery experience.
- Deep knowledge of the large-molecule drug discovery lifecycle and supporting technologies.
- Strategic planning, stakeholder engagement, change leadership; matrix/global collaboration.
- Vendor/external partner management; multi-year digital portfolio experience.
- Knowledge of industry trends/emerging R&D and pharmaceutical sciences technologies.
- Project management methods; Agile experience.
- Strong executive communication; ability to resolve complex issues under pressure.
Benefits:
- U.S. base salary range: $177,000.00β$278,080.00.
