Role Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Tax Analyst to join our U.S. Tax Department. This role will support federal, state, and local tax compliance, tax accounting, and cross-functional initiatives that support Teva's mission as a leading innovative biopharmaceutical company. It provides an opportunity to grow within a global tax organization while gaining exposure to complex tax issues in a collaborative, solution-oriented environment.

Responsibilities

  • Preparation of U.S. federal, state, and local income tax returns and supporting workpapers
  • Assist with the timely preparation, filing and payments of income and franchise tax obligations, including extensions and estimated payments
  • Support the US quarterly and annual tax provision calculations in accordance with ASC-740
  • Prepare income tax accounting journal entries and account reconciliations
  • Support IRS and state income tax audits, as necessary
  • Conduct research on U.S. federal and state tax technical matters and summarize findings
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to support tax planning and business initiatives
  • Help improve tax processes through automation, standardization, and better use of tax technology tools (e.g., Alteryx, Power BI, OneSource)

Qualifications

  • Preferred: 0-1+ years of tax compliance and/or accounting experience, including internships, co-ops, or relevant academic projects
  • Preferred: Experience in a large multinational company or public accounting firm
  • Preferred: Prior experience using ERP systems (e.g., SAP) and income tax software (e.g., OneSource)
  • Preferred: Experience with automation and visualization software (e.g., Alteryx, Power BI, Qlik)

Skills

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
  • Basic knowledge of US corporate income tax principles

Education

  • Bachelors Degree required. Degree in Accounting or Finance preferred
  • Masters in Tax or Accounting and/or CPA preferred (or working towards it)
