Role Summary

As the sole full-time recruiter, the Talent Acquisition Specialist will be the hands-on driver of Cabaletta Bio’s growing team. You will manage the full-cycle recruiting process—from sourcing and engaging candidates to coordinating interviews and delivering a smooth, positive experience. You’ll collaborate with hiring managers to keep searches moving efficiently and help refine recruiting processes as the company scales, reporting to the Chief Human Resources Officer.

Responsibilities

  • Manage full cycle recruiting for assigned roles, including sourcing, screening, interviewing coordination, and offers support.
  • Partner with hiring managers to understand role requirements and provide updates throughout the recruitment process.
  • Source and engage candidates through LinkedIn Recruiter, job boards, referrals, and other approved channels.
  • Maintain accurate and timely candidate data within the applicant tracking system (ATS).
  • Support diversity, equity, and inclusion efforts by applying consistent and inclusive recruiting practices.
  • Coordinate interview logistics, schedule candidates and hiring teams, and ensure a smooth end-to-end hiring experience.
  • Communicate regularly with candidates to provide updates, answer questions, and ensure a positive experience.
  • Assist with posting jobs, managing vendor interactions, and maintaining recruiting tools and platforms.
  • Track basic recruiting metrics (e.g., candidate pipeline status, time-to-fill) and share updates with HR leadership.
  • Support process improvements that enhance the efficiency and consistency of the recruitment process.
  • Other related duties, as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in human resources, business, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of full-cycle recruitment experience, preferably in biotechnology, pharmaceuticals, or life sciences.
  • Familiarity with ATS systems, LinkedIn Recruiter, and sourcing tools.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills, with the ability to manage multiple searches simultaneously.
  • Ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced and evolving environment.
  • Ability to partner effectively with hiring managers, understanding role needs and aligning on search strategies.
  • Strong customer-service mindset with a commitment to a positive candidate and hiring manager experience.
  • Comfort operating as a hands-on, independent recruiter while staying highly collaborative with the broader HR team.
  • Team-oriented, proactive, and eager to learn and grow in the talent acquisition field.
  • High level of professionalism, discretion, and judgment when handling sensitive candidate and employee information.

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in human resources, business, or a related field.
