Role Summary
Associate Director/Director, T1D Patient Finding Innovation leads strategy development and execution to identify patients eligible for cell therapies in Type 1 Diabetes. Uses data-driven and innovative tools across HCP, health systems, treatment centers, and patients, including partnerships with third-party providers to run rapid pilots. Partners with HCP and patient marketing to align tools with awareness and education efforts. Reports to the T1D BU Head of Marketing.
Responsibilities
- Leverage primary and secondary research and various data sets to develop actionable insights for patient finding strategies
- Partner with data science and business information teams to develop innovative data models (e.g., claims, CGM, consumer) to identify potentially eligible patients for educational efforts
- Assess landscape of third-party providers and tools (e.g., EMR, point of care, diabetes management platforms, workflow tools) to accelerate patient finding and prioritize pilots
- Collaborate with data science, technology, business information and marketing teams to test ideas and determine best paths to implementation and measurement
- Work with Legal, Compliance, Privacy, Medical, and Regulatory partners to ensure initiatives are well-structured and compliant
- Develop robust KPI plans to measure impact, evaluate ROI, and pivot as needed
- Create detailed implementation plans and execute pilots within budget and on time
- Work cross-functionally to align initiatives with integrated launch and brand strategy
- Build strong partnerships with cross-functional teams to support business goals and engage marketing and field counterparts
- Model a culture of compliance and ethics with aggregate and de-identified data in line with privacy policies
Qualifications
- Proven ability to work with healthcare data sets and translate insights into business opportunities
- Experience evaluating and deploying innovative provider or patient tools to support brand strategies
- Specialty product launch experience is preferred
- Analytical mindset with ability to make strategic recommendations and monitor performance
- Entrepreneurial and innovative spirit with urgency in execution
- Collaborative, results-driven approach in a growing business unit
- Understanding of legal, regulatory, and compliance requirements for pre- and post-approval activities
- Strong written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills
Education
- Bachelorβs degree required
- Minimum of 8 years marketing, consulting or agency experience in healthcare/biopharmaceuticals, or equivalent combination of experience and education
