THE OPPORTUNITY

SVP Oncology Therapeutic Area Head (TA Head) β€” Reporting to the Chief Medical Officer (CMO). Oversee development of multiple oncology molecules. Lead oncology strategy and a cross-functional clinical team to develop novel therapeutics from IND through marketing application and registration. Provide guidance/oversight of clinical development strategies for multiple programs and expert input on clinical developability of pre-clinical oncology assets. Partner with Research (Discovery through IND filing) and support oncology business development.

What You’ll Do
- Lead oncology clinical development strategy to deliver registrational data to health authorities.
- Oversee objectives/resources to deliver key oncology development milestones.
- Coach and mentor program team leaders, clinical scientists, and medical monitors.
- Collaborate with Regulatory Sciences on regulatory strategy and represent the Company in health authority interactions.
- Be a core member of the CMO Organization Leadership Team.
- Collaborate with internal/external stakeholders (e.g., joint development steering committees) to advance molecules through clinical development.
- Represent the Company and science at major congresses and to stakeholders (e.g., Board, investigators, KOLs, patient advocacy groups, investors, analysts).

Who You Are and What You Bring
- MD with specialty training in Oncology (required).
- 12+ years in early and late-stage clinical development at biotech/pharma (required).
- Track record applying strategic context; balancing risk and trade-offs.
- Business acumen; ability to galvanize teams.
- Accountability, scientific rigor, innovation.
- Ability to build teams/culture across functions.
- Outcome-driven mindset; commitment to milestones.
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills to convey complex medical/scientific information.
