Primary objectives include achieving sales targets, expanding customer engagement, and providing clinical and technical support to ophthalmic surgeons and OR staff. Responsibilities encompass conducting product demonstrations, evaluations, and in-services; building relationships with key opinion leaders; supporting surgical procedures; and maximizing utilization of advanced platforms like Stellaris. The role also involves competitive market analysis, managing territory expenses, maintaining CRM records, and collaborating with regional teams for cohesive strategy execution. Requirements include a Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience, at least 3 years of outside sales experience—preferably within ophthalmic, medical device, or surgical sales—and prior surgical environment exposure is preferred. Essential skills include strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal abilities, proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM tools (Salesforce preferred), and a valid driver’s license. The position is remote, field-based, with 25-75% travel, requiring residence within or near the assigned territory.
