Role Summary
Lead the design, development, testing, and implementation of supply chain planning solutions using SAP Advanced Planning and Optimization, OM Partners, and SAP S/4HANA packaged applications. Gather requirements, perform technical analysis, and build and implement business requirements for supply chain planning, manufacturing, and distribution. Collaborate with IT and business teams to deliver integrated planning capabilities across the supply chain network, including DP, SNP, and PP/DS, and ensure smooth platform releases and data integration.
Responsibilities
- Lead design, development, testing, and implementation of SAP/OM Partners planning solutions for Supply Chain Planning projects.
- Perform requirement gathering and technical analysis to design and implement business requirements for the supply chain planning suite.
- Lead assessment and technical analysis of solutions to support business processes in planning, manufacturing, and distribution of inventory.
- Partner with Plan and Supply Chain organizations to build, enhance, and support SAP DP, SNP, PP/DS, and OM Partners applications, including coordination of platform releases.
- Design and deploy planning projects to support supply chain financial product flows; review user stories and prepare configuration and technical design documentation.
- Design, implement, and support data integration protocols for master and transactional data across on-premise and cloud-based planning tools and ERP systems.
- Configure systems based on design specifications and conduct fit-gap analyses to determine feasibility of enhancements.
- Provide escalation support and integration with ECC, APO DP, SNP, PPDS, and OM Partners planning systems; collaborate with IT and business partners on interfaces and impact analysis.
- Capture customer insights to improve planning projects; deliver continuous improvement recommendations; collaborate across IT and business teams.
- Interact with multi-functional teams to ensure complete delivery of solutions and coordinate with release planning and management services.
- May telecommute up to 2 days per week.
Qualifications
- Required: Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Information Technology, or related field; 5 years of experience in the offered job or related Supply Chain Global Planning Lead occupation.
