Role Summary

Supply Chain Analyst for Lilly Medicines Foundry, focusing on aligning business needs with supply chain technology solutions. You will interact with supply chain business leads and global Tech@Lilly support functions to assist with the implementation of supply chain IT systems such as ERP, Cold Chain, inbound and outbound clinical supply chain systems, and scheduling and planning solutions.

Responsibilities

  • Act as a liaison between business stakeholders (e.g., supply chain, manufacturing, quality) and IT teams to ensure technology solutions align with strategic business goals and regulatory requirements.
  • Serve as Tech@Lilly key contact SME for Foundry supply chain IT systems.
  • Leverage understanding of functional business processes to enable stakeholders to meet business outcomes.
  • Translate business processes into technical terms and vice versa.
  • Produce and maintain project and validation documentation.
  • Ensure systems remain in a validated state and manage their lifecycle through releases, recapitalization, and retirement.
  • Manage incident, problem, configuration, and change/release processes in line with business needs.
  • Partner with Global Supply Chain and site Tech teams to implement integration solutions between systems (e.g., SAP S/4HANA, SAP eWM, MES, LIMS, QMS, AGVs) when identified.
  • Maintain high levels of customer satisfaction by delivering strong IT support to end-users and addressing needs promptly.
  • Contribute to a site culture grounded in Lilly values, innovation, and operational excellence.

Qualifications

  • Required: Bachelorโ€™s degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
  • Required: At least 3 years of IT experience working with supply chain technologies.
  • Required: At least 1 year of experience in a pharmaceutical GxP environment.
  • Required: Authorization to work in the United States on a full-time basis (no visa sponsorship).
  • Preferred: Understanding of regulatory requirements in GMP (FDA) and solid knowledge of Computer System Validation.
  • Preferred: Agile experience; ITIL principles; IT certifications (e.g., ITIL, AI, Cloud) are a plus.

  • Ability to handle IT changes, updates, and system upgrades with minimal disruption.
  • Experience with IT service management processes (incident, problem, change) and system integration.

Education

  • Bachelorโ€™s degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field.

Additional Requirements

  • Must be willing to relocate to the Indianapolis/Lebanon, IN area.
  • Hybrid work schedule: At least 3 days onsite.
