The Supervisor, Warehouse & Logistics is overseeing and managing warehouse operations and logistics while ensuring efficiency, safety, and compliance with cGMP (current Good Manufacturing Practices). Key responsibilities include supervising warehouse associates, training the workforce, and coordinating shipping and receiving activities to meet domestic and international deadlines. The role also involves managing records (both hard copy and electronic), overseeing intra-transfer of products, and maintaining/updating shipping Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
Please note: this is a 2nd shift, 4x10 | Sun-Wed | 12:00p-10:30p position.
As a Supervisor, Warehouse & Logistics, a typical day might include the following:
- Responsible for leading and training workforce in receiving warehouse, and shipping practices while overseeing the daily responsibilities of the Warehouse Associates and/or Warehouse Data Associates.
- Ensures outgoing shipments are coordinated properly to Filler, Labelers and between CMOs to meet deadlines both domestically and internationally.
- Ensure receipts and warehouse activities are performed appropriately.
- Oversee intra-transfer of products, management of receipt, warehouse, and shipping related records, both hard copy and electronic.
- Follows established safety practices and SOPs in a cGMP environment.
- Responsible for maintaining/updating shipping SOPs.
- Identifies strategic areas of opportunity and executes continuous improvement initiatives throughout logistics.
- Prepares, distributes and presents metric and project status reports to management.
- Responsible for executing year-over-year improvements in employee development, safety, quality and customer service through lean and six sigma initiatives.
This Role May Be For You If You Have
- Experience in managing and supervising personnel including training, work assignments, setting expectations, and performance evaluations.
- Have Warehouse & Logistics experience in a regulatedenvironmentt
In order to be considered for this position, you must hold a BS/BA in business or scientific discipline plus 5 years of related experience preferred; may substitute experience in lieu of education.
Shift Requirements: Physical
- Ability to perform physical requirements for entirety of shift (up to 10 hours):
- Some physical requirements can include but not limited to: bending, climbing, crawling, kneeling, reaching, reaching overhead, sitting, squatting, walking, standing, driving, hand manipulation and ability to lift/push/pull up to 50lb
