Role Summary
Utility Operations Supervisor for night shift at Lebanon Advanced Therapies Manufacturing Site. Provides oversight of all utility operations, ensures compliance with cGMP, and ensures equipment and systems are available, maintained, and repaired to applicable standards. Serves as functional and technical leader for the utility operations team and coordinates site utility activities for startup and ongoing operations.
Responsibilities
- Assuring compliance with site procedures
- Facilitating and communicating site utility events
- Functional and technical leadership for our utility operations team
- Monitoring and reporting utility system performance to site stakeholders
- Responsible lead for coordinating and executing site utility operations
- Support equipment failure investigations and/or root cause analysis into utility systems
- Lead a safety-first, quality-always utility operations team
- Ability to respond quickly and proactively to changing priorities within a reasonable timeframe
- Cross-functional collaboration with Global Facility Delivery (GFD) to support project delivery
- Participate in system Lockout Tagout (LOTO), Job Hazard Analysis (JHA), and CMMS work plans
- Support and/or participate in system verification (commissioning and qualification) including system startup, shakedowns, initial/operational verification, and/or equipment qualification
- Act as a point of contact for utility escalations and system communication
- Provide direct reports supervision in planning and implementing duties and developing goals/objectives
- Ensure consistent work practices and application of best practices in utility operations
- Ensure the facility is inspection-ready for internal and external audits
- Escort contractors and ensure training requirements are met before work
- Maintain knowledge of the building monitor system (BMS) to support troubleshooting
- Monitor environmental, health, and safety aspects and manage risks of maintenance/repair activities
- Perform all duties following cGMP and OSHA regulations and provide 24-hour emergency response
- Provide technical expertise to assist Utility Operators in troubleshooting equipment
- Review/evaluate corrective and emergency work orders for trends; support changes and SOPs as applicable
- Supervise Utility Operators to ensure timely and accurate completion of tasks
Qualifications
- Required: Education: High School Diploma (associate degree preferred); Experience: Minimum of five years of utilities operations experience
- Knowledgeable of manufacturing operations and utilities operations
- Familiar with maintenance CMMS
- Previous supervisory/leadership experience
- Ability to transition from day shift to supporting a 24/7 operation
- Willing to support off-hour emergencies when necessary
