Responsibilities:
- Supervise assembly and recellularization bioprocess execution teams supporting tissue-based regenerative medicine for pulmonary hypertension and other lung diseases.
- Coordinate and schedule experiments using human/non-human organs, tissues, and cells.
- Lead in-house lung recellularization process development and improvements.
- Perform routine and non-standard analytical assays; guide staff on procedure deviations.
- Supervise tissue engineering cultures and assembly of tubing/bioreactors/specialized materials; provide training and ensure quality outputs.
- Plan and schedule experiments; coordinate equipment/personnel; manage resources and determine timelines.
- Review/analyze team activity and data to improve operational efficiency and implement process improvements.
- Author/update GLP-like lab procedures and protocols.
- Coordinate technology transfer with partners; manage sample preparation/shipment to CROs/vendors.
- Record data in in-house systems; ensure accuracy by resolving discrepancies.
- Manage materials/inventory and support forecasting; enforce lab safety and universal precautions.
- Supervise direct reports (training, goals, performance evaluations, recruitment support) and perform other duties as required.

Minimum Requirements:
- 7+ years post-baccalaureate (Associate) or 5+ years (Bachelor) or 3+ years (Master) in biology/cellular/molecular/biomedical sciences.
- 1+ year leadership via team coordination/coaching/mentoring peers.
- Proficiency with standard software; experience with lab instrumentation and data software.
- Ability to lead troubleshooting/investigations/optimization and handle scheduling issues.
- Ability to manage a diverse workforce; handle confidential company data.

Preferred Qualifications:
- 1+ year directly supervising a team.
- 1+ year in cell culture or tissue engineering.
- Familiarity with safety cabinets, hoods, balances, pipettes, freezers/fridges, NOVA system, cell counter, endotoxin readers; strong documentation and communication.
