Supervisor, Shipping and Fulfillment

Role: Shipping & Fulfillment Supervisor overseeing outbound operations in a regulated biotech environment, ensuring accurate, timely customer order fulfillment. Responsibilities: lead a team of 10-15 staff, manage daily scheduling, workforce planning, and shipping documentation; partner with Quality to address deviations and complaints; monitor operational metrics like on-time delivery and accuracy; drive continuous improvement and ensure regulatory compliance (DOT, Hazmat, IATA). Qualifications: High School diploma with 4-6 years in warehouse, logistics, or fulfillment, including leadership; proficiency in ERP/Warehouse Management Systems, Microsoft Office; strong leadership, analytical, and communication skills. Preferred: Associate's degree and supervisory experience. High-Value: experience in biotech or medical products distribution, working in a regulated environment, managing customer-facing service issues, and operating powered material handling equipment. Work setup: standard hours with occasional overtime; physical ability to lift 50 lbs, work in cooler/freezer environments, and operate forklifts as needed.
