Position Summary
This position supervises the ELISA/Luminex Immunoassay Development team in feasibility, product development, validation, and technical support of multiplex immunoassays. Responsibilities include performing and overseeing development assays, reviewing data for project milestones, and proposing solutions to product and process issues. Lead department and cross-functional projects for new and existing products.

Key Responsibilities
- Supervise Development personnel: set goals, performance management, career development, and oversee daily work.
- Review team work to ensure alignment with departmental goals/objectives.
- Manage projects to meet milestone goals through collaborative project management.
- Manage data manipulation/curation/report building and increase data automation during NPI.
- Participate in MRB (Material Review Board) to resolve product/process issues and non-conformances.
- Write/review/approve SOPs, Deviations, and Change Impact Assessments as appropriate.
- Identify and implement process improvements to increase workflow efficiencies.
- Collaborate with product management, manufacturing, and quality for new product design/validation/release.
- Present technical information to team and other departments.
- Advise unit/sub-units; address high-complexity problems.

Education and Experience
- Bachelorโ€™s science degree + 4+ years relevant experience, or Masterโ€™s degree + 2+ years relevant experience.
- Demonstrated leadership capacity.
- Immunoassays experience (preferred).
- Project management experience (preferred).

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- Knowledge of immunoassay laboratory equipment/instruments.
- High accuracy and attention to detail.
- Microsoft Word and Excel required; typing/computer entry desirable.
- Planning/organizational/multitasking; work independently and collaborate.
- Problem-solving, leading/supervising, interpersonal skills.
- Professional oral/written communication and presentation skills.
- Handle sensitive/proprietary information confidentially; train new employees.
