Role Summary

The Manufacturing Product and Packaging Operations Supervisor will lead Ottava production initiatives, focusing on hiring, training, and mentoring team members. They will analyze workflows to identify bottlenecks and drive process improvements using Lean and Six Sigma. The role requires a proactive problem solver with a passion for operational excellence and innovation. Location: Santa Clara, California.

Responsibilities

• Drive and responsible for daily production build plan
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve production bottleneck
• Supervise a team of technicians, hire and train new team members and mentors existing ones
• Utilize Lean and Six Sigma methodologies to drive continuous improvement
• Manage project timelines, deliverables, and stakeholder communications.
• Document and share best practices across teams to foster innovation and operational excellence.
• Track performance metrics and report progress to leadership.

Qualifications

• Required: A minimum of 2 years of relevant professional work experience
• Required: Supervisory experience in medical devices
• Required: Experience in Lean and Six Sigma and other continuous improvement processes
• Required: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Required: Experience working in matrixed organizations and cross-functional teams
• Required: Strong personnel management skills
• Preferred: Experience in capital equipment in medical device manufacturing
• Preferred: Familiarity with medical device labeling and packaging

Education

• A minimum of Associate’s degree and/or equivalent University degree is required
