Supervisor, Manufacturing- First Shift

Role: Manufacturing Supervisor overseeing start-up and ongoing operations of Norton’s new commercial Drug Substance manufacturing train. Responsibilities include managing technicians, supporting equipment commissioning & qualification, GMP documentation, troubleshooting complex process issues, and ensuring compliance with GMP and safety standards. Key focus on equipment start-up, process validation, batch record review, and collaboration across functions like Quality, Engineering, and Supply Chain. Qualifications: BA/BS in science or engineering; 5+ years in GMP biopharma manufacturing; 2+ years leading operations teams; strong knowledge of GMP regulations, process automation, SAP, LIMS, and MES systems. Experience in biologics or similar therapeutic modalities, with a preference for those familiar with commercial manufacturing, continuous improvement, and start-up environments. The role is on-site in Norton, MA, with support for shift work including weekends and extended hours.
