Role Summary
The Supervisor - IDAP - Warehouse Operations Nights oversees operational processes affecting safety, quality, and customer service within the Indianapolis Device Assembly and Packaging (IDAP) Warehouse. The role provides administrative leadership, develops warehouse staff, and ensures compliance with cGMP and quality standards. This position requires strong leadership, effective communication, and the ability to manage multiple priorities on night shift.
Responsibilities
- Ensure strict compliance with established policies/procedures (Safety, Quality, Warehouse Procedures, etc.).
- Monitor and build a strong HSE culture.
- Routinely inspects area for health, safety and quality issues and identify areas for operational improvement.
- Supervise, develop, and coach operators.
- Ensure operators are trained appropriately.
- Leads the area in providing high level of customer service to production operations.
- Ensure department follows all cGMP requirements and is compliant with OSSCE Class A guidelines.
- Responsible for HR related processes such as attendance management, PM planning, feedback, and base pay adjustment; monitors and meets performance management objectives and measures.
- Assigns daily and weekly work schedules to warehouse employees.
- Participate in updating / creating procedures and procedure training.
- Take ownership for implementation of countermeasures associated with safety / quality audits, observations, inspection findings, and deviations.
- Investigate quality and safety events related to warehouse operations.
Qualifications
- Required: Ability to effectively communicate, both written and verbal, across levels and function.
- Required: Strong organization skills and ability to handle and prioritize multiple projects, requests, including planning, leading, and implementing.
- Required: Ability to solve problems, troubleshoot issues and learn new processes and computer system applications.
- Required: Ability to work overtime as required.
- Required: Be available off shift and respond to production issues as needed.
- Required: Basic computer skills including SAP / MES and desktop software as applicable (Excel, Word, TrackWise, etc.).
- Required: Leadership experience.
- Required: Knowledge of cGMPs, IDAP Safety and Quality systems.
- Required: Responsible for maintaining a safe work environment, working safely and accountable for supporting all HSE Corporate and Site Goals.
- Required: May require criminal background check.
- Required: May require Controlled Substance Authorization.
- Preferred: Previous experience in supervising people is desired.
- Preferred: Previous warehouse / logistics experience in a GMP environment.

- High School Diploma or Equivalent
