Supervisor, Engineering & Maintenance

Role: Supervisor, Engineering & Maintenance for second shift at a cell therapy manufacturing facility, overseeing equipment maintenance, calibration, and technical troubleshooting. Responsibilities: support repair and maintenance of GMP manufacturing equipment, utilities, HVAC, electrical systems, and analytical tools; respond to alarms and resolve escalations; ensure compliance with GMP documentation; lead calibration and maintenance teams; coordinate with external vendors; maintain safety standards and operational uptime. Requirements: BS/MS in Engineering or equivalent; 5-10 years of relevant biotech or life sciences experience, with 3-4 years managing maintenance teams; strong background in HVAC, electrical systems, chiller/boiler plants, and use of CMMS (Blue Mountain RAM) and BMS (Siemens Desigo/Insight); excellent communication skills; valid driver’s license; ability to respond to alarms outside regular hours. High-Value: experience supporting cGMP cell therapy manufacturing, with knowledge of cleanroom protocols, biohazard handling, and environmental monitoring; physical ability to work in a cleanroom environment and lift 50 lbs; onsite work with potential exposure to biohazards, chemicals, noise, and equipment hazards; fast-paced biotech setting requiring stress management and multitasking.
