Supervisor, Custodial & Cleaning

This position assists with implementation and administration of the sanitation program, including training and supervising sanitation personnel.

Schedule:
- 1st Shift 7:00am - 3:30pm, Monday to Friday

Essential Functions:
- Directly supervises employees in the Sanitation Department
- Supervises all facets of the cleaning and sanitation process for the entire processing plant efficiently and within budget constraints
- Keeps manager informed on operation activities, employee activities, quality, safety, and cost controls
- Keeps accurate and up-to-date records
- Encourages employee suggestions to improve production, quality, safety, and/or cost controls
- Provides complete training on proper sanitation procedures and safety procedures
- Resolves operational, manufacturing, and maintenance problems to minimize costs and prevent delays

Additional Responsibilities / Required Skills:
- Read and interpret safety rules, operating/maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals; write routine reports/correspondence; speak effectively before groups
- Basic math skills (add/subtract/multiply/divide, fractions/decimals); compute rates/ratios/percent; draw/interpret bar graphs

Qualifications:
- Education: High School or GED (Required)
- Experience: 3+ years in Sanitization, Engineering, Waste Management, or related field
- Specialized Knowledge: GMP environment preferred
- Additional Requirement: Successful completion of an OSHA-compliant Respirator Fit Test

Compensation / Benefits (if applicable in posting):
- Salary: $80,000 to $87,000 per year
- Benefits include health and insurance benefits and a 401(k) matching contribution
