Supervisor Automation (On-Site)
Responsibilities:
- Supervise Automation Technicians and contracted resources supporting automation work.
- Provide mentoring, development, and supervisory support on the plant floor.
- Plan, coordinate, and schedule maintenance/repairs on automated systems.
- Communicate and coordinate automation issue resolution between Automation, Manufacturing, and Facilities.
- Maintain, diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair automation equipment and systems.
- Support deviation management: review investigation reports, conduct root cause analysis, and implement corrective actions.
- Follow cleanroom requirements (full gowning when entering/working on production floor).
Required/Preferred Skills & Experience:
- Strong automation knowledge with mechanical and electrical proficiency.
- Experience operating and maintaining automation equipment/systems.
- Working knowledge of Allen Bradley and/or Siemens PLCs, HMIs, and computerized systems.
- Leadership/supervisory experience; ability to lead and mentor.
- Critical thinking, communication, and technical troubleshooting skills.
- Initiative and ability to balance changing priorities.
- Basic understanding of data integrity regulations.
Qualifications/Requirements:
- AS/AT/AAT degree in Engineering (or related field) plus 5+ years relevant experience, or equivalent combination of education/experience.
- Pharmaceutical/biopharmaceutical manufacturing facility experience desired.
- Ability to perform cleanroom physical requirements for up to 10 hours/shift (e.g., bending, climbing, reaching, driving; lift/push/pull up to 50 lbs).
- Full cleanroom attire and ability to remove jewelry/makeup/nail adornments.
Schedule:
- Working Shift: TueβSat 12:00AMβ8:30AM; Training Shift: MonβFri 8:00AMβ4:30PM (approx. 6 weeks).
