Position: Operations Supervisor (Filling) – Parenteral (PAR)
Responsibilities:
- Support start-up activities to bring the PAR area into service: train on equipment, develop technical proficiency, build an inclusive/diverse culture, and lead operational readiness.
- After turnover, lead teams operating multiple PAR departments; develop technical expertise and inclusive culture.
- Ensure adequate staffing with trained/qualified employees; enforce safety and quality rules/procedures.
- Lead continuous improvement; collaborate across shifts/groups and ensure shop-floor execution (business plan, cGMP, Operational Standards).
- Develop operational documentation; originate/investigate deviations and quality issues and support root-cause/corrective actions.
- Manage direct reports across manufacturing lines; coach/develop operators; communicate cross-functionally on quality/equipment/operational concerns.
Minimum Qualifications:
- High School Diploma/GED.
- 1+ year supervisor experience.
- 1+ year in operations or directly supporting manufacturing (pharma/food/clean-room or similar).
- 1+ year documented computer use (desktop software/MS Office/Excel or similar).
- Authorized to work in the U.S. full-time; Lilly does not sponsor visas.
Preferred:
- 4+ years manufacturing/operations with 2+ years supervisory.
- cGMP/FDA (or similar), STEM degree/certification.
- Aseptic filling, single-use assemblies, isolator technology; inspection; automated/highly automated equipment.
- MES and SAP/electronic systems; lean/six sigma; RCA/corrective actions.
Other:
- Valid driver’s license; ability to work overtime; 12-hour day shift (6am–6pm) on 2-2-3 schedule.
- Wear PPE and work/gown in cleanroom (Grade C, ISO 8).
- Travel: 2–4 week trips and/or 3–12 month assignments; possible short travel for equipment testing.
Compensation/Benefits:
