Role Summary

The Finance Lead, US Commercial partners closely with the Market Access, 340B COE, and Rebates to establish financial strategies to ensure the success of the US Commercial business. The role supports all financial planning and analysis activities with respect to Actuals, Plan, Update, Long Range Plan (LRP), monthly Forecast, and ad-hoc analysis to support day-to-day operations and strategic plans.

Responsibilities

  • Perform month-end close activities including P&L review and variance analysis, analysis commentary submission, journal entry submission, balance sheet reconciliations, headcount analysis and reporting, BPC loading, and monthly management report packages for Actuals and latest best estimate (LBE).
  • Partner closely with the business to support the planning process for all P&L expense areas such as personnel, professional services, training, etc.
  • Track budgets and perform analysis of monthly actual financial results for specific P&L expenses, including comparisons against Plan/Prior Year/Update/Forecast to highlight risks and opportunities.
  • Operate independently to prepare relevant variance analysis and commentary for each planning cycle and develop meaningful management reporting schedules.
  • Identify and implement solutions to optimize finance processes to drive speed, agility, and insights.
  • Lead financial reviews and approvals related to purchase order requests and invoices.
  • Prepare ad-hoc analysis and participate on project teams as required.
  • Interact with all levels of management to communicate financial implications and guidance.

Qualifications

  • 7-10 years of progressive Finance and/or Accounting experience.
  • Ability to work well as part of a team and build strong relationships with stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical, problem solving, and communication skills, with ability to work independently.
  • Ability to take initiative and manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Solid understanding of US Generally Accepted Accounting Principles.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Bachelorโ€™s Degree in Finance or Accounting.
  • CPA and/or MBA preferred.
  • Experience with large scale ERP and planning systems such as SAP, BPC and TM1 preferred.
