We are looking for a student worker to support several steps of research workflow at Amgen Research Copenhagen, and other logistics tasks. The main responsibilities include: Compound registration, management and maintenance of Amgen’s large sample bank Making stock solutions, buffers, HPLC solvents, weighing compounds, preparing aliquots, etc. Preparing the shipments (incl. order fulfillment, preparing shipping materials and documents, unpacking parcels with chemicals, etc.) Handling packages containing dry ice and contact with the delivery service Other daily laboratory tasks as well as occasional support of the reception WIN Here is how we Win We are all different, yet we all use our outstanding contributions to serve patients. BASIC QUALIFICATIONS Amgen requires that all individuals applying for the Student Worker position at Amgen must meet the following criteria: Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s (or starting a Master’s) degree in Biology, Chemistry, Life Sciences or related field in a Danish university Good knowledge of verbal and written English PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS Passionate about research and pharmaceutical industry Experience evolving in a laboratory Thorough time-management skills Strong work-ethic THRIVE Some of the vast rewards of working here.
