Principal Responsibilities:
- Roadmap for the evolution of SSEG functions to ensure the organization remains future-ready (identify key capabilities/tools; partner with stakeholders for execution).
- Evaluate vendor platforms and solutions against key capabilities and financial targets.
- Strategy, Priorities, Scorecard and KPIs: work with the LT to develop a department scorecard and appropriate KPIs.
- Optimize resource utilization across teams and manage the vendor landscape; adapt internal/external resource mix to sustain critical skills while leveraging outsourcing for routine tasks and dynamic demand (partner with LT, finance, and procurement).
- Lead annual planning and budget tracking across SSEG, including annual AOP planning.
- Drive strategic ad-hoc projects; own dashboards, timelines, and project management.
- Day-to-day strategy, information flow, and communications: trusted partner to Head of SSEG; proactively identify risks/opportunities; oversee key decisions flow; manage strategic meeting communications (presentations/memos).
- Manage 1–2 direct reports (FTEs and vendor).

Requirements/Qualifications:
- BS/BA required; MS/MBA/PhD preferred.
- Minimum 7 years senior leadership and project management experience.
- Leadership experience in data analytics is a plus.
- Excellent written/oral communication and executive-level storytelling.
- Data/metrics driven; strong KPI rigor and data analysis; budget management acumen.
- Ability to lead/influence in a matrix environment; strong internal/external network.
- Strong analytical, strategic thinking, and problem-solving skills.
- Strong project management techniques; current knowledge of AI tools.
- Knowledge of analytics technologies (Power BI, SAS, R, Shiny).
- Knowledge of clinical trial data and processes.
- Experience defining/documenting business processes in pharma or similarly regulated environments.
- PMP/Scrum Master/Six Sigma certification is a plus.
