Position Summary:
Operational lead for Statistics Therapeutic Areas within Data and Quantitative Sciences (DQS). Shape and execute the organization’s strategic agenda by driving operational excellence, collaboration, and cross-functional project delivery; optimize resource/budget allocation; enable data-driven decision-making; support value realization (ROI tracking for advanced analytics/process enablement) and alignment between strategic priorities and execution.

Key Responsibilities:
- Partner with Statistics Therapeutic Area leadership to develop/execute strategic plans aligned to portfolio priorities.
- Drive operational excellence and data-driven decision-making.
- Lead cross-functional project delivery from ideation through execution with transparency, accountability, change management, and measurable outcomes/value realization.
- Oversee end-to-end financial planning/reporting (budget projections, vendor spend tracking, risk management).
- Monitor/optimize resource allocation for internal/external teams; support pipeline objectives and continuous improvement.
- Facilitate strategic discussions; escalate key risks; collaborate with project leads.
- Work with technical leads to manage reporting, compliance, and KPIs (best practices).
- Lead/support continuous improvement and process optimization/technical innovation.
- Author leadership messaging/change communications; mentor junior talent.
- Build relationships across divisions; coordinate internal events and conference management.
- Ensure adherence to company policies, regulatory requirements, and quality standards.

Qualifications & Experience:
- Advanced degree (MBA/MS/PhD/PharmD preferred) in Business Management, Life Sciences, Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, Programming, or related.
- 7+ years in pharma/regulated environment focused on data science, analytics, programming, or statistics.
- Strong preference: management/strategy consulting or advisory experience.
- Exceptional program/project leadership for complex, cross-functional initiatives.
- Proficiency with analytics platforms, Microsoft, and SharePoint; preference for AI/automation.
- Strategic influence, relationship-building across divisions/cultures, and strong written/interpersonal communication.
