      Role Summary
 Strategic Sourcing Lead - Raw Materials, Devices and Distribution. Lead Global Procurement’s Strategic Sourcing for Raw Materials, Devices and Distribution, directing a team to deliver sourcing strategies, achieve savings, and ensure regulatory compliance.
 
 Responsibilities
 
  - Lead Global Procurement’s Strategic Sourcing team for Raw Materials, Devices and Distribution, providing direction, mentorship, and execution leadership to achieve business goals through supplier sourcing and partnering; remove barriers to implement sourcing deliverables.
 
  - Drive continuous improvement through sourcing initiatives, identifying opportunities and inefficiencies, and implementing strategic outcomes from the Category Management team.
 
  - Champion ownership and delivery of annual savings and value plans aligned with category and business strategies, within Finance’s budget.
 
  - Be a trusted advisor to Operations, growing and maintaining influence of the Sourcing Agenda with executives.
 
  - Lead with strong financial competence, partnering with Finance executives.
 
  - Develop team capabilities and foster diversity and inclusion; set goals, prioritize work, and provide performance feedback.
 
  - Lead a team of direct reports; support Sourcing Managers in translating programs into deliverables.
 
  - Curate supplier partnerships and deepen knowledge of external capabilities and opportunities through Strategic Sourcing.
 
  - Identify and mitigate supply risk while ensuring regulatory compliance (e.g., GLP, GMP, ISO) and linking outcomes to performance metrics.
 
  - Monitor and report on Strategic Sourcing performance, adjust to meet goals, and pursue cost savings and process improvements.
 
  - Evaluate and implement process improvements, environmental sustainability, supplier diversity, and automation to enhance efficiency and long-term goals.
 
  - Maintain knowledge of industry standards and best practices to drive competitive advantage.
 
 
 
 Qualifications
 
  - Basic Qualifications:
  
  - Doctorate degree with 3 years of Procurement, Supply Chain, Manufacturing or Operations experience (preferably regulated).
 
  - Or Master’s degree with 7 years of relevant experience.
 
  - Or Bachelor’s degree with 9 years of relevant experience.
 
  - Or Associate’s degree with 12 years of relevant experience.
 
  - Or High school diploma/GED with 14 years of relevant experience.
 
  - Additionally, at least 3 years of direct people management or leadership experience.
 
  
   
  - Preferred Qualifications:
  
  - In-depth knowledge of Strategic Sourcing across Raw Materials, Devices and Distribution.
 
  - Familiarity with regulatory standards (GLP, GMP, ISO, OSHA).
 
  - Ability to lead teams in procurement for direct materials and COGM.
 
  - Strong analytical skills to monitor metrics and ensure compliance.
 
  - Strong verbal/written communication with Executives.
 
  - Ability to work with global, virtual teams and lead through ambiguity.
 
  - High initiative and ability to manage multiple priorities; team-oriented.
