Role Summary

Strategic Process, Training & Execution Lead within the BOSE team, responsible for shaping and executing the learning agenda, overseeing controlled process management and training execution, rebuilding SOPs and curricula, ensuring consistency, compliance, and efficiency, and stewarding documents and audit/inspection follow-ups. Partners with Moderna University and other functions to align enterprise learning programs with function-specific needs and to drive cross-enterprise collaboration.

Responsibilities

  • Training Strategy & Governance: develop actionable learning roadmaps with functional leaders, integrate enterprise programs for consistency, conduct needs assessments, build development-focused training strategy, and create a learning roadmap aligned to business strategy. Develop and facilitate learning experiences such as workshops and training sessions.
  • Learning Execution and Curriculum Oversight: redesign training matrices and curricula in a digitized framework, streamline workflow; update curricula with partners; drive role alignment across process and training curricula; optimize LMS for centralized training assignment and tracking; mentor Training Management Leads; collaborate with internal/external partners to create and deliver functional learning content; develop engaging digital content; measure learning impact and improve programs; manage budget for functional learning activities.
  • Drive Execution and Compliance: standardize training rollout communications and plans; oversee compliance, metrics, and escalation processes; ensure ongoing oversight with post-implementation feedback; deliver training updates via multiple channels; integrate end-to-end change workflow with BOSE continuous improvement capabilities.
  • Partner with Moderna University (ad-hoc): engage with enterprise-wide learning solutions; leverage content libraries and vendor partnerships; contribute functional insights to enterprise learning initiatives.

Qualifications

  • Required: BA/BS; advanced degree or equivalent experience; minimum 10 years in pharma/biotech or similar regulated environment with leadership in learning & development or instructional design; strong knowledge of clinical development and trials; robust GxP/GCP knowledge and controlled document practices; experience in life sciences or regulated industry; proven ability to design and deliver engaging learning solutions; excellent facilitation, communication, and stakeholder management; familiarity with enterprise learning systems and content libraries; ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, global environment.
  • Preferred: multi-media/design skills; innovation in learning modalities; experience using generative AI to create learning programs; practical knowledge of learning operations; facilitation skills; certification in instructional design or training facilitation.
