Responsibilities:
- Partner with Oncology Global Market Access and Regional Market Access to develop, support, and update oncology brand pricing strategies.
- Establish current and long-range strategic pricing objectives with Global Oncology Market Access for pipeline/commercial products.
- Develop Oncology pricing competency to understand geographic and therapeutic market dynamics.
- Define pricing positioning and payer messaging co-created with Brand and Value Evidence Teams.
- Provide leadership and direction on brand pricing to Brand Teams and internal stakeholders.
- Drive Pricing excellence via collaborations with external partners (e.g., payer advisory boards) and strategic projects to build competence, infrastructure, and tools.
- Educate internal stakeholders on Oncology pricing dynamics and trends.
- Lead the Global Pricing function’s longer-range vision, strategy, plans, and objectives.
- Foster a collaborative, open-minded culture; coach and support capability development.
- Drive change by connecting stakeholders and generating clarity and outcomes.
Basic/Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Life Science, Business, or Market Access (pricing, reimbursement, health economics).
- 10+ years’ experience in pricing and market access (pricing/reimbursement/health economics) in pharma/medical device/diagnostics at affiliate/regional and global level.
- Expertise in pharmaceutical pricing dynamics across US, Europe, China, and other major regions.
- Proven experience developing/overseeing pricing and access strategies.
- Significant cross-functional project leadership and presenting to senior executives.
- Strong problem-solving, negotiation, interpersonal, and communication skills; fluent English.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Master’s/MBA/Doctoral in related fields.
- Experience adhering to compliance policies for third-party interactions (policy makers, HCPs, patient organizations).
- Knowledge of drug commercialisation and disease treatment principles.
- Experience in global matrix environments; inspiring leadership; people leadership and talent development.
