What you will do:
Lead strategic planning initiatives and drive operational excellence across the organization to support execution of the strategic vision.
Key responsibilities:
- Serve as a strategic partner to the GDO Functional VP and Leadership Team to develop and execute organizational strategy and priorities.
- Organize high-functioning meetings and orchestrate town halls, events, and presentations to drive engagement.
- Collaborate with GDO pillars (Operational Excellence, HR, Finance, IS, Compliance) to execute priorities and support decision-making.
- Liaise between SP&O leadership, Functional VP, and stakeholders to drive alignment, communicate decisions, and progress actions.
- Deliver execution of operational plans, including resource management, communication/engagement plans, capability planning, training requirements, and support functional budget/financial targets.
- Incorporate global staff feedback into operational plans.
- Partner to support leadership effectiveness, talent development/planning, and employee engagement.
- Execute emerging priorities and deliverables requested by the Functional VP.
- Support organizational plan implementation, executive dashboards, and presentations to internal/external stakeholders.
- Support budget management, headcount planning, and resource prioritization.
- Provide oversight for select business processes.
Basic qualifications:
- Doctorate + 2 years in biopharma setting, OR Master’s + 4 years, OR Bachelor’s + 6 years, OR Associate’s + 10 years, OR HS/GED + 12 years.
Preferred qualifications/skills:
- MBA/PhD/PharmD/Master’s; life sciences/biopharma (preferably clinical development) experience; R&D knowledge.
- Transform complex information into clear messages; conceptual problem-solving; data analysis for KPIs.
- Strong cross-functional communication/influencing; organizational and project management experience.
- Ability to present to senior executives; confidentiality; prioritize workload; lead/influence without authority.
- Flexibility/adaptability; proactive issue management; strategic thinking; talent development support.
