Responsibilities:
- Drive regional sales impact by engaging highest-value GI customers to achieve and exceed sales objectives in collaboration with Territory Sales Representatives.
- Deepen clinical expertise through advanced product and disease state knowledge; conduct in-depth clinical engagements with gastroenterologists, advanced practice providers, and office staff; introduce new treatment options and address clinical questions/objections.
- Expand market influence by assessing regional market dynamics, access opportunities, and competitive trends; accelerate pull-through with Territory Sales Representatives and office staff.
- Collaborate in an overlay model by partnering with multiple Territory Sales Representatives to expand coverage, prescribing depth, and coordinated execution in priority accounts.
- Lead training and development as a regional trainer by supporting onboarding, facilitating field skill development, and leading workshops/capability sessions at regional and national meetings.
- Advance business planning with the Regional Sales Manager to align overlay priorities with territory and regional goals.
- Partner cross-functionally with Marketing, Training, Sales Operations, and others to drive operational excellence and share best practices.
- Execute with discipline: CRM use, expense management, and compliance with company/regulatory standards.
Requirements:
- Bachelorβs degree (accredited).
- Minimum 5 years successful pharmaceutical sales experience (external); internal candidates may be considered with fewer years.
- Proven achievement of sales objectives with formal recognition.
- Demonstrated product launch success in competitive markets.
- Advanced analytical/business acumen.
- Ability to build relationships with GI HCPs and key office staff (live/virtual).
- Strong digital skills: Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint), Veeva Engage, Teams, Zoom.
- Adaptability in fast-paced environments.
- Valid driverβs license; ability to travel extensively (overnights) and attend meetings.
Strongly Preferred:
- Overlay model success partnering with multiple reps.
- Experience mentoring/training/facilitating workshops; strong facilitation/presentation skills.
- GI specialty experience.
Benefits (included):
- Expected annual base salary range: $125,000β$155,000.
