Role Summary
Strategic Account Manager- Vaccines responsible for leading and growing strategic accounts in the vaccines space, managing cross-functional resources, and building account plans to drive value and meet revenue targets. The role focuses on Health Systems, IHNs, Medical Groups, PBGs, FQHCs and state Awardees, with national coverage opportunities.
Responsibilities
- Lead assigned accounts, providing cross-functional leadership and managing each as a business partnership on behalf of the company. Build strategic account plans and deploy internal resources to drive value co-creation and achieve revenue targets.
- Develop and maintain trust-based relationships with external stakeholders within large, complex customers. Understand the customer’s business, pressures, priorities, challenges, and opportunities; stay informed on their business model, strategic goals, and healthcare environment dynamics.
- Identify and qualify high-value opportunities, develop growth strategies with the customer, align teams, and coach account teams to facilitate value co-creation and ongoing account growth. Act as central point of communication for account planning, strategy, collaboration, and engagement.
Qualifications
- Required: Bachelor’s degree
- Required: 5+ years of field sales or account management experience
- Required: Broad understanding of health system business, decision-making processes and market trends with a track record of engaging C-suite to D-suite decision makers
- Required: Ability to translate health system market knowledge into strategic plans with internal stakeholders
- Required: Ability to execute tactical initiatives, provide ongoing feedback, and manage multiple projects
- Required: Broad field sales experience with success engaging P&T committees and decision makers/influencers in Hospitals, Health Systems, IHNs and similar customers
- Required: Strong business acumen and strategic thinking
- Required: Self-directed, organized with strong execution and planning skills
- Required: Adaptability in a shifting environment; excellent written and verbal communication
- Required: Valid driver’s license, eligibility for insurance coverage, and ability to operate a vehicle
- Preferred: MBA or other advanced degree
- Preferred: Strong data analytics
- Preferred: Experience in Market Access, Pricing, Contracting or Finance
- Preferred: Proficiency with MS Office and customer management databases
- Preferred: Experience leading teams with impact and influence with key internal stakeholders
