Role Summary
Remote/Field Strategic Account Manager for Vaccines. Lead strategic management of Sanofi's largest vaccine accounts, build strategic account plans, and coordinate cross-functional teams to drive value creation and meet revenue targets. Develop trusted partnerships with health systems, IHNs, medical groups, PBGs, FQHCs and state awardees to advance immunization initiatives across national regions.
Responsibilities
- Assume leadership within assigned accounts, providing cross-functional account leadership, building and executing strategic account plans, and aligning Sanofi resources to drive value creation and revenue targets.
- Develop trust-based relationships with external stakeholders, understand the customer’s business, pressures, drivers, priorities, challenges, and opportunities; maintain knowledge of the customer’s business model, strategic goals, healthcare environment, competitors, and financial levers.
- Identify high-value opportunities, co-create growth strategies with customers, coach account teams, and serve as central point for account planning, strategy, collaboration, resource allocation, and customer engagement.
Qualifications
- Required: Bachelor's degree
- Required: 5+ years of field sales or account management experience
- Required: Broad understanding of health system business, decision-making processes & market trends with a track record of accessing C-suite to D-suite decision makers
- Required: Ability to translate health system knowledge into strategic plans with internal stakeholders
- Required: Ability to execute tactical initiatives, provide ongoing feedback, and prioritize multiple projects
- Required: Broad field sales experience with success working with P&T committees, decision makers & influencers in Hospitals, Health Systems, IHNs and other large-organized customers
- Required: Strong business acumen and strategic thinking; self-directed with excellent execution and planning skills
- Required: Ability to adapt and change in a shifting environment; excellent written and oral communication skills
- Required: Valid driver’s license, eligibility for insurance coverage, and ability to safely operate a vehicle
- Preferred: MBA or other advanced degree
- Preferred: Strong data analytics
- Preferred: Experience in Market Access, Pricing, Contracting or Finance
- Preferred: Proficiency with MS Office and customer management databases
- Preferred: Experience leading teams with demonstrated impact and influence with key internal stakeholders
Additional Requirements
- Travel: Ability to travel up to 75% of the time to customers, conventions, training, and other internal meetings
