Main Responsibilities
- Assume leadership for assigned strategic accounts; develop and own strategic account plans, coordinate internal resources, and drive value co-creation to meet/exceed revenue targets.
- Build and manage trust-based relationships with external stakeholders; develop deep understanding of customer business (pressures/drivers, priorities, challenges/opportunities), maintain knowledge of business model, strategic goals/objectives, and healthcare environment (value-based care, competitors, financial levers).
- Identify and qualify high-value opportunities; develop growth strategies with customers and internal cross-functional teams, facilitate business coaching/strategy sessions, and serve as the central focal point for account planning, strategy, collaboration, resource allocation, and customer engagement.
Qualifications / Required Skills & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree required.
- 5+ years of field sales or account management experience (internal high performers may qualify with less experience).
- Proven ability to access C-suite to D-suite decision makers; broad understanding of health system decision-making processes and market trends.
- Ability to translate market knowledge into strategic plans; execute tactical initiatives, provide feedback, and prioritize multiple projects.
- Strong field sales experience with P&T committees and decision makers/influencers in hospitals/health systems/IHNs and other large-organized customers.
- Strong business acumen, strategic thinking, self-directed/organized execution, adaptability.
- Excellent written and oral communication.
- Valid driver’s license; eligible for insurance and able to safely operate a vehicle.
Preferred Skills & Experience
- MBA or other advanced degree.
- Strong data analytics; experience in Market Access, Pricing, Contracting, or Finance.
- Proficient with MS Office and customer management databases.
- Experience leading teams with impact/influence with key internal stakeholders.
Travel
- Up to 75% travel to customers, conventions, training, and internal meetings.
