Position Summary:
Strategic Account Manager (SAM) to drive strategic alignment with Integrated Delivery Networks (IDNs), Academic Centers of Excellence, and large nephrology group practices for rare glomerular diseases (e.g., IgA nephropathy, FSGS). Field-based, above-brand strategist aligning Travereโs priorities with key healthcare organizations.
Responsibilities:
- Lead strategic planning and execution across target healthcare organizations; align clinical, operational, and economic priorities.
- Identify and prioritize key accounts (market opportunity, institutional fit, engagement readiness).
- Develop tailored account engagement plans and reviews.
- Build relationships with C-suite leaders, line directors, nephrologists, P&T stakeholders, and multidisciplinary teams.
- Facilitate co-developing best practices for clinical pathways, early diagnosis, and care transitions.
- Identify opportunities to expand access, improve diagnosis rates, and support durable kidney preservation.
- Orchestrate cross-functional partners (Medical Affairs, MSLs, Marketing, TLLs, Sales, Patient Advocacy, HEOR, Patient Services, Market Access).
- Lead internal business planning (unbranded education, peer-to-peer, REMS coordination, clinical protocol implementation).
- Capture and communicate actionable insights; track/report key account metrics (pathway adoption, patient identification trends, engagement outcomes, resource utilization).
Qualifications:
- Bachelorโs degree required; MBA/MPH/MHA/PharmD/MS preferred.
- 8+ years in pharma/biotech/healthcare; nephrology/rare disease/specialty care preferred.
- Proven experience in strategic account management, healthcare system engagement, or field-based leadership.
