Position Summary:
Strategic Account Manager (SAM) to drive strategic alignment and long-term partnerships with Integrated Delivery Networks (IDNs), Academic Centers of Excellence, and large nephrology group practices to advance care for rare glomerular diseases (e.g., IgA nephropathy and FSGS).

Responsibilities:
- Lead strategic planning/execution across target healthcare organizations; align on clinical, operational, and economic priorities.
- Identify and prioritize key accounts using market opportunity, institutional fit, and engagement readiness.
- Develop tailored account engagement plans and reviews.
- Build executive and multidisciplinary relationships (C-suite, line directors, nephrologists, P&T stakeholders).
- Facilitate co-development of best practices in clinical pathways, early diagnosis, and care transitions.
- Identify opportunities to expand access, improve diagnosis rates, and support durable kidney preservation.
- Serve as primary point of contact across internal functions (Medical Affairs, MSLs, Marketing, TLLs, Sales, Patient Advocacy, HEOR, Patient Services, Market Access).
- Lead internal business planning for strategic accounts (unbranded education, peer-to-peer programs, REMS coordination, clinical protocol implementation).
- Capture, synthesize, and communicate actionable insights; track/report account metrics.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree required; MBA/MPH/MHA/PharmD/MS preferred.
- 8+ years in pharma/biotech/healthcare; nephrology, rare disease, or specialty care preferred.
- Proven strategic account management or field-based leadership experience.

- Field-based; live in region.
- Travel ~60%; face-to-face work and onsite capability (including San Diego) and ability to meet credentialing requirements.

- Target base pay range: $173,000–$225,000.
