Role Summary
Assemble and sterilize portable tanks for use in B1 bio-manufacturing. The role is based in Lincoln, NE, on the 2nd shift (2:00pm–10:30pm) with overtime, weekends, and holidays possible. You will follow GMP documentation, maintain equipment and facilities, and adhere to safety policies to protect personnel and product quality.
Responsibilities
- Train in all functions of the B1 Tank Sterilization department and perform other duties as assigned.
- Assemble and sterilize portable tanks for use in B1 bio-manufacturing.
- Understand, follow, and complete process documentation in support of GMP.
- Maintain equipment and facilities in proper working order.
- Understand and follow safety policies as they relate to biological and chemical components and equipment to protect personnel and maintain product quality.
Qualifications
- Required: Basic mechanical and troubleshooting skill.
- Required: Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Required: Computer skills and working knowledge of metric system.
Education
- High school degree or equivalent required.
Additional Requirements
- Exposure to chemicals, fumes, odors, noise, live steam, temperature fluctuations, biohazards; continuous standing and lifting up to 50 lbs.
- Weekend and holiday work may be required.
