Sterilization Technician - B1 Tank Operations 2nd shift

Role Summary

Assemble and sterilize portable tanks for use in B1 bio-manufacturing. The role is based in Lincoln, NE, on the 2nd shift (2:00pm–10:30pm) with overtime, weekends, and holidays possible. You will follow GMP documentation, maintain equipment and facilities, and adhere to safety policies to protect personnel and product quality.

Responsibilities

• Train in all functions of the B1 Tank Sterilization department and perform other duties as assigned.
• Assemble and sterilize portable tanks for use in B1 bio-manufacturing.
• Understand, follow, and complete process documentation in support of GMP.
• Maintain equipment and facilities in proper working order.
• Understand and follow safety policies as they relate to biological and chemical components and equipment to protect personnel and maintain product quality.

Qualifications

• Required: Basic mechanical and troubleshooting skill.
• Required: Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Required: Computer skills and working knowledge of metric system.

Education

• High school degree or equivalent required.

Additional Requirements

• Exposure to chemicals, fumes, odors, noise, live steam, temperature fluctuations, biohazards; continuous standing and lifting up to 50 lbs.
• Weekend and holiday work may be required.
