General Summary:
The successful candidate will work in a team setting to coordinate production of program-relevant cell types such as stem cell-derived islets (SC-islet) for use across research team projects. This includes 2D and 3D culture of pluripotent stem cells and differentiation for in vitro and in vivo studies.

Key Duties And Responsibilities:
- Culture human stem cells in 2D and/or 3D
- Complete experiments reliably and consistently
- Follow SOPs strictly with high attention to detail
- Perform initial analysis of experimental data and interpret immediate outcomes
- Record experiments/results in laboratory notebooks and electronic systems per lab procedures
- Recognize problems and suggest troubleshooting experiments
- Develop ideas to improve workflows, consistency, and efficiency of cell culture processes
- Communicate results clearly (written and verbal)

Knowledge And Skills:
- Experience with advanced human cell culture techniques
- Teachable mindset to learn protocols and execute stem cell differentiations producing consistent, high-quality product
- Ability/willingness to work rotating weekend shifts
- Adaptive to a timeline-driven work environment
- Multitasking skills, attention to detail, collaborative team approach
- Ability to work with cross-functional teams to plan/coordinate/execute experiments
- Proven technical proficiency in conducting/interpreting experiments; develop human stem cell models and assays to evaluate targets and lead molecules
- Use technical knowledge to design and execute follow-up experiments

Education And Experience:
- Master’s degree in biological sciences with 0–2 years relevant experience, or
- Bachelor’s degree in biological sciences with 4+ years relevant experience

Pay Range:
- $74,800 - $112,200
