Job Description Summary In this role you will be responsible to design, develop and maintain the Security posture of the enterprise level application/s. You will need to work with various As a Staff Software Engineer, you will design, develop, and maintain enterprise-scale Healthcare CT software solutions with a strong emphasis on both performance and security. The role requires building robust, secure, and scalable applications while ensuring a strong security posture across the software lifecycle. You will work extensively with development and security tools, including design tools, IDEs, static and dynamic code analysis tools, performance and memory profiling tools, threat modeling, test automation, and vulnerability management technologies. The role involves working primarily in Unix and Linux—along with programming frameworks, encryption mechanisms, and security controls. Job Description Key Responsibilities: In this role, you will be responsible for: Designing, developing, and maintaining end-to-end solutions focused on improving the security posture of enterprise-level applications Implementing user access controls, role-based access control (RBAC), system hardening, code signing, encryption, secure TLS, and OWASP-aligned secure design and implementation Promoting security-by-design principles across products, platforms, services, and processes Leading the design, development, implementation, and rollout of software solutions Implementing file hardening, FIPS compliance, OS-level file, and memory management Contributing across the full SDLC, including code reviews, profiling, threat modeling, vulnerability management, and controls, SBOMs, and SOUP management Required Skills: Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related technical field 7+ years of software engineering experience with hands-on involvement in architecture, design, implementation, and release At least 3+ years of experience building application- and OS-level security solutions Strong hands-on experience with Java, Angular, and scripting languages such as Python and Shell (C++ is a plus) Extensive experience developing Linux-based applications Solid understanding of design patterns, software architecture concepts, and OOAD principles Excellent communication, collaboration, and design-thinking skills Additional Skills (Preferred) Familiarity with the healthcare domain and regulatory standards such as 510(k), HIPAA, and GDPR Experience designing security solutions and performing threat modeling Exposure to security scanning and compliance tools such as NESSUS and STIGs Security expertise in containerized environments, including Docker, Kubernetes, and related technologies Demonstrate a strong passion for building secure, cross‑application solutions.
