Senior Therapeutic Specialist (Liver PBC/HCV) β Westchester/Hudson Valley/Southern CT region
Key Responsibilities
- Build relationships with healthcare providers; engage across touchpoints to understand needs and maximize product impact.
- Develop and execute a territory business plan; monitor sales progress and adjust strategies to meet/exceed targets.
- Maintain expertise in products and disease state; promote appropriate use of products in line with industry and company promotion guidance.
- Deliver disease awareness, clinical updates, and tailored education; distill complex clinical concepts for diverse audiences.
- Partner with local cross-functional colleagues and collaborate externally with healthcare organizations/partner companies to enhance reach and drive sales.
- Leverage influencing/relationship skills to drive sales outcomes; build long-term provider partnerships.
- Complete required administrative tasks (call activity/customer info systems, expenses, territory budget).
- Perform continuous learning to stay current on scientific/industry trends.
Skills & Competencies Needed
- Advanced communication; ability to present complex clinical information.
- Sales acumen with a track record of achieving/exceeding targets.
- Technical/scientific proficiency in therapeutic area; strong account management.
- Collaboration in a cross-functional matrix; autonomy and initiative.
- Patient-centric focus; multi-product portfolio experience.
Basic Qualifications
- High school + 11 years OR Associate + 9 OR Bachelor + 7 OR Master + 5 years experience.
- Valid driverβs license; ability to travel and meet onsite visitation requirements.
Preferred Qualifications
- BA/BS; 7+ years pharmaceutical/biotech/healthcare sales; specialty market success; experience selling injectable physician-administered products; managed care familiarity.
Compensation & Benefits
- Salary range: $133,195.00β$172,370.00; may include discretionary annual bonus, long-term incentives, paid time off, and company-sponsored medical/dental/vision/life insurance.
