Role Summary

Senior Therapeutic Specialist, HIV Treatment in San Francisco, North CA. Represent products to a defined customer base and drive sales growth within a geographic area via account management, in-person engagement, and strategic partnerships. Establish strong relationships with healthcare providers, deliver timely disease awareness information and clinical updates, and translate complex clinical concepts for diverse audiences. Travel within the assigned area may be required.

Responsibilities

  • Account Management & Sales Strategy: Build strong relationships and engage healthcare providers across touchpoints to maximize impact of the products. Develop and execute a comprehensive territory business plan, monitor sales progress, and adjust strategies to meet and exceed targets.
  • Product & Disease State Expertise: Maintain deep understanding of products, competitive products, and the complexities of the disease state's treatment. Actively promote the appropriate use of products to healthcare professionals, adhering to Corporate, PhRMA, and OIG guidelines.
  • Collaboration & Teamwork: Partner with local cross-functional colleagues to ensure a seamless customer experience through access, acquisition, administration and operational support. Collaborate externally with healthcare organizations and partner companies, including co-promotion efforts, to enhance product reach and drive sales results. Build and maintain strong internal and external working relationships.
  • Leadership & Compliance: Model and uphold compliance standards and ethical behavior, demonstrating peer leadership. Ensure adherence to regulatory agency, state, federal, and company policies, procedures, and business ethics, including timely reporting of adverse events. Ensure personnel are informed of and in compliance with relevant policies and laws relating to product promotion and information dissemination.
  • Customer Engagement & Reporting: Leverage influencing and relationship skills to drive sales outcomes; build long-term partnerships with healthcare providers. Perform administrative tasks, including reporting call activity and customer information in designated systems, submitting expenses, and managing the territory budget. Commitment to continuous learning and development; self-motivation to exceed goals; experience in selling a Buy and Bill product.

Qualifications

  • Required: Bachelor's Degree and Six Years' Experience
  • Required: Master's Degree and Four Years' Experience
  • Required: PhD and 0 Years' Experience
  • Required: Ability to engage in travel as may be reasonably required, including regular travel within the assigned area
  • Required: Satisfaction of onsite visitation requirements of healthcare practitioners within an assigned area, if applicable

  • Required: A valid driver's license is required
  • Preferred: BA or BS degree

  • Preferred: Proven and consistent track record of meeting/exceeding sales objectives, preferably in specialty markets
