Responsibilities:
- Own the product roadmap and platform backlog (feature intake, prioritization, grooming, readiness) aligned to business goals, customer needs, technical strategy, and delivery capacity.
- Translate roadmap priorities into executable plans (quarterly objectives, coordinated delivery plans, backlogs connecting long-range strategy to day-to-day execution).
- Drive end-to-end execution of cross-functional R&D initiatives (track commitments, manage dependencies/risks, ensure predictable delivery from concept through design transfer and release).
- Lead Agile/program cadence (sprint planning, reviews, dependency management) to implement the roadmap.
- Partner with engineering, product management, UX/UI, and functional leaders to align scope/priorities/timelines and resolve execution blockers.
- Use data/metrics to course-correct (delivery health, milestone progress, KPIs for scope/schedule/quality/risk).
- Communicate regularly with leadership on roadmap progress, status, risks, and mitigations.
Qualifications:
- Education: Minimum bachelor’s degree (BA/BS) or equivalent experience in engineering or a scientific field.
- Required: 8+ years product development; 4+ years engineering/program/product management; experience with complex systems/dynamic teams; strong communication/interpersonal skills; experience with organizational change and conflict resolution; software development and test experience; can motivate/influence without authority; experimentation mindset; independent, self-motivated, results-driven.
- Preferred: New product launch experience; PM/PMP or Scrum Master certification (e.g., CSM/PSM I/PMI-ACP); regulated industry experience; Jira/Smartsheet/Airtable or similar tools; people management.
- Other: Up to 25% domestic/international travel.
