Sr Technical Product Manager, Robotics (Santa Clara, CA)

Key Responsibilities
- Own the product roadmap and platform backlog (feature intake, prioritization, grooming, readiness), aligned with business goals, customer needs, technical strategy, and delivery capacity.
- Translate roadmap priorities into executable plans by defining quarterly objectives, developing coordinated delivery plans, and maintaining backlogs connecting long-range strategy to day-to-day execution.
- Drive end-to-end execution of cross-functional R&D initiatives by tracking commitments, managing dependencies/risks, and ensuring predictable delivery from concept through design transfer and release.
- Lead planning/tracking/execution cadence using Agile and program management practices (sprint planning, reviews, dependency management) to implement the roadmap.
- Partner with engineering, product management, clinical, and functional leaders to align scope/priorities/timelines, surface tradeoffs, and resolve blockers.
- Use data and metrics to inform decisions and course-correct (delivery health, milestone progress, KPIs for scope/schedule/quality/risk).
- Provide proactive communication to leadership/partners with regular updates on roadmap progress, execution status, risks, and mitigation plans.

Qualifications
- Education: Minimum bachelorโ€™s degree (BA/BS) or equivalent experience in engineering or a scientific field.

Required
- 8+ years professional product development experience
- 4+ years engineering, program, or product management
- Experience on complex systems or in complex/dynamic teams
- Strong communication/interpersonal skills; able to work effectively with teams
- Experience in Organizational Change and Conflict Resolution
- Integrated Hardware and Software development experience
- Ability to motivate/influence others without direct authority
- Passion for experimentation; proactive problem-solving, critical thinking, eagerness to learn
- Able to work independently; self-motivated and results driven

Preferred
- Experience launching a new product
- Project Management and/or Scrum Master certification (e.g., FPX/PMP; CSM/PSM I/PMI-ACP)
- Regulated industry experience (healthcare, aerospace, pharmaceutical, automotive)
- Experience with Jira, Smartsheet, Airtable, and other work planning tools
- People management experience

- Up to 25% domestic and international travel
