Sr. Systems Engineer, SAP Basis

Role: Experienced SAP Basis Administrator responsible for managing enterprise SAP landscapes, including SAP S/4HANA and RISE with SAP, ensuring system optimization, security, and lifecycle management. Responsibilities: lead administration, maintenance, and performance tuning of SAP environments across cloud and on-premises platforms; oversee lifecycle activities such as implementation, upgrades, migrations, and patching; collaborate with cross-functional teams for system architecture, security, and automation; support high availability, disaster recovery, and compliance standards; provide technical leadership, project delivery, and governance. Requirements: 10–12 years' SAP Basis experience supporting large-scale enterprise SAP solutions; deep expertise with SAP S/4HANA, SAP HANA, cloud hosting (AWS, Azure, GCP), and SAP tools like Solution Manager and BTP; proficiency in Linux, enterprise databases, scripting (PowerShell, Python, Ansible); strong troubleshooting, stakeholder management, and compliance knowledge; preferably with experience in regulated environments such as pharma or medical device. High-Value: enterprise SAP landscapes, SAP S/4HANA, RISE lifecycle management, cloud infrastructure, security, automation, GxP/regulatory compliance.
